Figures, tables

  FIGURES

    Figures usually have a label (e.g., Figure 1, Figure 2, 
    etc.) and a caption description below the figure.  In 
    the text, labels are abbreviated as Fig. 1, Fig. 2, etc.

TABLES Tables have a label (e.g., Table I, Table II, etc.) and a title description above the table. In the text, tables are referred to by their labels (e.g., "In Table I,...").
