Since we are talking about
engineering problems, remember to
keep in mind not only what you have,
but also what you want. It would be
better to say, "I need to get an
adaptor to make this mouse connect
to this PC" than just "this mouse
doesn't fit". Describing what ideal
situation is desired gives a problem
direction (which helps the engineer
decide what to do to get it solved).
