Producing Homepages

Homepages are written in the Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML). Let us study some of the basic functions by recreating the bar graph page presented in Snapshot 2.

How to build the text materials

For this bar graph page, we need to do the following:

• Step 1: Write the HTML skeleton.
• Step 2: Add text.
• Step 3: Add bars.

To improve the appearance and make it close to the example:

• Step 4: Modify text font, size, etc.
• Step 5: Add colors, border, etc.
• Step 6: Add link.
